ABOUT THE SHOW

In a city where Gods lord over mortals, an ambitious young woman stands alone as she attempts to start a revolution. "BLOOM" is an original musical telling the story of a close-knit community tyrannized by the cruelty of the Gods and their struggle to initiate change.

Arachne, a rebellious mortal, challenges the powerful goddess Athena to a weaving contest, with the fate of the village hanging in the balance. Witness Bolina and the villagers stand up against Greek gods Athena, Zeus, Apollo, and Poseidon as they unite to fight for justice and freedom.

"BLOOM" embodies the theme of standing for what is right, features an unexpected love story, and the birth of a revolution.

SUPPORT INDEPENDENT THEATER

"BLOOM" is an original musical and will be hosting its first ever concert version this May, highlighting the music and vocal harmonies of its stellar cast.

Last summer was its first fully staged production following a successful sold-out staged reading in April 2023. Selected out of over three hundred submissions, "BLOOM" was performed at the SheNYCArts festival, a nonprofit organization advocating for gender equity in the entertainment industry.

"BLOOM" brings together a talented and passionate all-women creative team, each dedicated to pushing boundaries and creating an unforgettable theatrical experience.
